ABOUT WALT: Walt is a person with genuine animal sensitivity.  Many of his friends refer to him as "Noah" because the animals "talk" to him.  He is an animal rights activist and a firm believer in the right person for the right animal.  His knowledge of animals and his love for them has developed over the last thirty years of active involvement with strays, pet-therapy, and general hands-on learning.  If you have questions about your pets or need some advice you

There are so many subjects close to my heart and this is one of them. If you have been to garage sales, you know what a great bargain you can get by hunting around, a real gem for less than half the price!! You can't wait to get it home and show it off.

The same holds true at animal shelters. A friend just waiting behind bars to love you, wagging his or her tail, jumping up on the chain link fence or gate looking for a new loving home and getting off that cold wet cement. God's gifts to us!!

"Jeanette," my cockapoo, was a stray.... now with our family for 10 years, and "Stevie," after 3 blessed groomings, looks like a real poodle. What a great team they are to present to the neighborhood.

I could not imagine life without them or what our house might be like without the kisses and hugs we receive daily from them.

Please think about adopting a pet.... not purchasing a pet. I like the challenge of bringing a new friend into our home.
